Our Story

We've Been Where You Are

We didn't start as property managers. We started as property owners - figuring out tenant screening the hard way, learning what happens when you defer maintenance, and building systems over time to make our own portfolio run smoothly.

Today we own and operate 93 units in the Summerville market. That experience gives us something a corporate property management company can't offer: genuine alignment with your interests. When we screen a tenant or coordinate a repair, we're applying the same judgment we'd use for our own properties.

We started Live Oak Rental Properties because we kept meeting small landlords who were overwhelmed - not because they had too many properties, but because they didn't have a trustworthy system. We built that system for ourselves. Now we offer it to you.
